Steve has extensive experience of delivering large and complex changes within both private and public sector organisations. He has particular strengths in helping to clarify the outcomes organisations are seeking from change, and in exploiting structured methods for planning and managing change implementation. An Accredited Prosci © Training Instructor and Change Management Practitioner, Steve actively uses these qualifications both to help clients build their change management capability through the training he delivers and to help them achieve successful change through consulting assignments.
A long and varied consulting career has allowed Steve to develop a broad skill set that compliments his change management skills, and includes strategy definition, operating model development, process analysis & re-design, and information systems design, development and implementation. In addition to Prosci, Steve draws on a range of other methodologies and approaches including Systems thinking, Soft Systems, PRINCE2 and MSP. Steve’s early career involved a number of roles in technical environments, but with an academic background in Psychology and Anthropology he quickly recognised the importance of the human aspects of change leading to a career long interest in helping individuals and organisations successfully navigate their way through change.
As an individual he is energetic, enthusiastic and engaging and quickly establishes credibility and trust at all levels within client organisations.
