Over the past 20 years, Risto has acquired progressive experience spanning all facets of client-side and vendor-side programme and project management successfully leading programmes of change for organisations in the UK, US, Europe, Russia, South Africa, and Latin America. His practical experience is underpinned by formal education in project management and certifications from globally recognised professional organisations including: Prosci, Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP), Project Management Institute (PMI), British Computer Society (BCS), and Scrum Alliance, amongst others.
Risto holds a Master of Science in Project Management and undergraduate degrees in Spanish and International Relations. He was a member of the ACMP Standards Working Group tasked with the development of first global standard for change management, and served as chair of the Credential Governance Committee. He is also a Chartered Membership Assessor for BCS and a Technical Reviewer for the PMI Project Management Journal. Risto is a Prosci Certified Advanced Instructor and is currently working with CMC's Change Management Capability Building Team delivering Prosci Practitioner training for the company's public open enrolment events.
Risto has lived and worked in several countries and has studied a number of languages. He holds dual British / American citizenship and resides in Surrey in the United Kingdom.
