e-Procurement at xchangewales

CMC are helping the Welsh Assembly Government to establish ‘xchangewales' (cyfnewidcymru). This initiative will modernise the procurement processes of the Welsh public sector, its schools and its supply base most effectively. This modernisation is a key way to deliver efficiency savings.

It is anticipated that xchangewales will create the opportunity for every Welsh public sector body to achieve savings that will be retained and reinvested in frontline services.

CMC are developing the definition products including vision, blueprint, programme plan, governance structure, stakeholder management strategy and communications plan in conjunction with the SRO, Programme Director, Programme Manager and team for this new collaborative "shared service" programme.

We will also provide technical assurance of the newer aspects of the e-Procurement solution, develop and implement the programme management processes, and provide programme and project management support.
