With over 20 years business experience, Karla is accomplished at advising, supporting and delivering change in organisations with a particular focus on the people side of change, recognising the importance of the human aspects of change and leadership.
A qualified and experienced Change Practitioner, she helps clients build their change management capability, using the Prosci methodology to provide mentoring and hands-on support. Recently, Karla has worked with private, social profit and not-for-profit organisations in the UK, Belgium, France and the Netherlands.
During her career, she has managed teams of up to 250 people across Sales, Strategic Planning, Market Research and Communications in an international context. This long and varied career has allowed Karla to develop a broad skill set that includes strategy definition, business model development, project management for business projects, intrapreneurial workforces and managerial development, as well as the strong conviction that all results are achieved when employees of an organisation are on board, heads, hearts and hands. Or as Prosci puts it: “People | Change | Results”.
In her consulting work, Karla favours a no-nonsense approach to change management and leadership by focussing on pragmatic and people-facing initiatives to make a difference.
In addition to Prosci, Karla draws on a range of other methodologies and approaches and enjoys teaching Change Management to a group of international bachelor students at a university college in Belgium.
She is passionate about applying insights on change and change management at personal, organisational and societal level and volunteers at Oxfam Fair Trade.
