VOSA

The Vehicle and Operator Services Agency (VOSA) is an agency within the Department for Transport. VOSA provides a range of licensing, testing and enforcement services with the aim of improving the roadworthiness standards of vehicles, ensuring the compliance of operators and drivers, and supporting the independent Traffic Commissioners.

CMC has provided project management consultancy expertise to support a portfolio of major change projects within the MOT Computerisation (MOTC) Programme, managing the prime contractor to ensure delivery in accordance with the PFI contract.

The CMC team also had responsibility for areas including business change management and quality management, as well as for technical improvements such as handheld devices, business continuity and disaster recovery, equipment (garage) functionality, finance/banking functionality, data management, reporting and business process improvement.
